need some help with headlights

On my 1g the headlights flip up and down but the bulbs do not turn on. Also I noticed that everything on my turn signal switch doesnt work (the turn signals,head lights, high beams, wipers) I tried switching the switch but no go... Any ideas? I feel like a noob not being able to figure this out.

Check your fuses and relays? Also check the continuity of the switching positions. These cars are getting up there in years and the electrical contacts get coked up when the grease dries up.

Switched all relays with known working ones, and checked all fuses. How do I test continuity of the switch?
