Need a little help with some connections

Im finally getting the the point of wiring up my engine after my rebuild. But ive hit a little wall here, i have one ground connection thats starts at the firewall (and the EVAP purge silenoid is mounted over the connection) and im not sure where this ground is suppose to go (heres a couple of pics of it...sorry for the blury pics). Now i think this ground bolts on to the intake manifold some how....but thats just a guess

Ok and also i have an extra vacuum (sp?) left over. Now i think it goes to my intake pipe, but im not too sure (heres a pic of it)

(this hose starts at the firewall and the battery is mounted in front of it)

(i think it runs to the intake pipe because the hose runs all the way to the front of the transmission)
You guys helped me out before...so i know i`ll get some great info here.

Yep, the grounding strap gets bolted to the drivers side throttle cable adjustment bolt. The strap goes on top of the adjustment plate.

And that vacuum line is for delivering windshield washer fluid to the squirters.
