Hello guys

im in the process of installing the flywheel on my 6 bolt swapped engine, but i have a 2g transmission. my question is, do i torque the flywheel and clutch bolts at the 1g specifications or at the 2g specifications? assuming that they are different torque #s. and if so, how much is the torque # for both?

thanks in advance

They are the same. The Clutch is the same between 6 and 7 bolts, only the flywheel is different. 100 ft/lbs with red loctite for the flywheel and 14 ft/lbs for the pressure plate. Make sure you torque the PP down in a star sequence to keep from warping anything. You want the pressure as even as possible all the way around.

Do yourself a favor and check the flywheel step height. Make sure its .610" to .612". .612" is ideal.

Here's a bunch of other torque specs for the trans stuff:

If you need torque specs for anything 2G related then download the PDF here

and once open press CTRL + F and type in what you're looking for. The ^ and v arrows next to the search bar allow you to scroll through results.

In what sequence should I torque my flywheel? And its 100ft/lbs from what I read

I would recommend a star pattern.

Torque spec. for the flywheel is (94-101) ft.-lbs.
