Need help with a few questions

Okay so I have a 97 Gst shell with a 97 Gst wiring harness, but a 7 bolt from a 95 Gst with the 95 Gst ecu. I did the swap and I'm not getting spark. There's fuel it turns over but no spark. The coil pack that's on there now is from a 96 Gsx cause the oem coil pack was bad.
Question 1: the coil packs on a stock 97 Gst, does it take 1 connector or 2?
Question 2: is the wiring harness to the ecu different from a 95 Gst compared to a 97 Gst?
Which could possibly not be giving me spark ?

What cam position sensor are you running (95-95, 97-99, or 1g)? 95-96 are one style harness and ecu 97-99 is different. The ECU's can be swapped but with some plug wire swapping. But we also need to know what cps you are using.

Could you get some pics of the engine.

I'm using a 95-96 cam position sensor. I forgot to put that. We did the switch because they're different. Well it's reversed for me, I have the 97-99 wiring harness using a 95 ecu, does that work? Or are the things lined up differently? And I'm at work now, I'll take pictures when I get home of the motor and ecu
