Well i'm about to finally buy an eclipse. And it has a carbon fiber hood in its in rough shape how much does a recoat usually run for?

And the battery is relocated to the trunk. I know some pros like space but i'm curious on some more pros and cons.

thanks guys

I would personally purchase the car and see if there is anything wrong mechanical wise with the car. Then after that fix up things like the hood!

But to you're OP, depends how much work is needed to sand and re-clear the hood. So really the price various (labor, cost of clear, sanding, and etc.)

Battery relocation really depends on the quality of work. if they did a shit job it will give you headaches because of things such as shorting out but if it was done right you shouldn't have problems. Also if it looks in rough shape I definitely agree with searching for mechanical issues first before worrying about the hood.
