Wondering why there is so much liquid coming out of the hose on top of the valve cover.. and a possible future problem? thanks.

Ok So My car has a bad wobble around 60 mph up or so I feel it when im going slow to but its not noticeable if you never noticed it before. I see the shroud or something has been majorly ripped in one of the pictures that says "liquid(which is probably power steering fluid)" I dont know what is supposed to be there but it doesnt look right and I took pictures of the other stuff just for you guys to tell me what you think?.. This is on the highway going straight not around corners.. it sometimes stops for a while then comes back.

I also have a power steering pump leak I believe I checked the hoses and replaced the clamp in the picture but im guessing thats not it. Im thinking its leaking out of the thing I circled should I just buy a power steering pump rebuild kit? will that replace a ring in there?

i dont think there should be that much oil in that line
that hose going into you manifold is the pcv valve
umm you could get a oild catch can

but dammn check it unhook it and shake it
it should rattle if its good

Yea, it shouldn't be that oily. There will be some oil fumes traveling through there, but not enough to make it that bad. Do as psx said, take the pcv valve off and check it.

Do a really nice wash to the engine and you can see better where is coming from and go from there.

Thank you I had planned on doing a wash if it wasnt so damn cold where I live right now. My main concern is the wobbling can anyone tell me if the shroud that looks all torn up needs replaced? or whats up...?

you need an alignment. a shroud wouldnt cause wobble, although i dont see a ripped shroud in any of the pictures...

check tires, tire pressure, and an alignment.

Take off the PCV valve, its really hard on one sid eof the hose to come off. SPray inside it with carb cleaner. If it's still good it will rattle and it should only flow one way. It's kinda like a check valve. If you hae a pressure washer then coat everything in degreaser and let it sit like 10 minutes then pressure wash everywhere really good. Then after it's dry start it and let it idle, just watch it for leaks.

I checked all the little stuff.. Tires pressures are all good.. tires all brand new... bolts all tightened.. its something different... Its not really a shroud its like a rubber piece was supposed to be there but the cv shaft on the right side looks different.. IDK...

noooooo You have to take the little fella off then clean it and test it. It will rattle like a little metal ball is moving around inside.

yea you unhook the PCV valve off the car

and have it in your hand and shake it
it should rattle because the ball inside is still loose enough

you dont need the car on for this checking process
