Need help w/ cam & knock sensor

Hey guys.

First of all, I’m really sorry if this question has already been answered. I searched & didn’t see anything.

I’m trying to help out my mechanic (who can’t seam to figure how to get my engine to start). The problem is, he cannot find where the cam sensor plugin on the valve cover is. Are there any difference between 95, 96, 97-99 cam sensors?
On a related note, are there any differences with the knock sensor?

I could really use the help. This guy’s had my car for 3 months!!

the CAS in on the left side I (passenger) of the head behind the radiator cap.
yes there are differances between 95/96 & 97/99 cam angle sensors.

My mechanic says there is not a 2nd cam sensor on 95-96s. Is that correct?
