Need help with knock sensor

i'm putting in my motor in and i was moving the engine wire harness to plug the knock sensor in and the knock sensor connector on the engine harness side the wire broke clean off the connector

what should i do cut both plugs and make my own? can i buy another plug from somewhere don't really want to would rather cut plugs and make my own?
what would you guys do?

It's a bi***, but you can get the terminal out of the plug, and put a new one on the end of the wire. Then push it back into the plug. They sell special tools to remove those terminals, or maybe a shop will let you borrow them. Don't make your own connector.

where do you guys think would be the best place to get the connector from? i won't make my own

You'll have to get one from a junkyard, off an old car. The dealer doesn't sell them. Try www.mitsubishigraveyard.com
