Need help removing the flex plate spacer

Okay so I'm removing my flex plate spacer to go from auto to manual and I can't get it to budge. I've tried heat, dry ice, and the stuffing wet paper then hitting it with a backwards socket and extension(a method i saw on here which made sense but isn't working). Any opinions would be appreciated!

The bushing in the crank? If so use real vice grips. You may need to tap them with a hammer.

I've tried that too and it didn't budge a hair.

If you put one jaw inside the bushing, and the other on the outside, and use your bfh, it will come out.

That's how i'm trying. I'm using a 5lb dead blow right now. Should I try a bigger hammer? aha

bump. Having same issue. Auto to manual swap. I've been trying the wet tissue paper trick, vice grips. Anyone can send me a thread of them accomplishing this that would be appreciated.

Are you guys using actual vise grips, or something from harbor freight? Also, I set them so I have to squeeze hard enough to break someone's hand when I crank them on. I usually have to squeeze with both hands for something like this.

Actually vice grips. And yes set to where only hulk can clamp that bi*** on. But I finally got it going back and forth with smashing with hammer in a downward swing to trying to twist it out with vice grips. Lmao
