Hello my name is Cory and I finally got my 1g dsm!!!! :)
It is a 92 gsx eclipse. I haven't got to do a lot of work with the 4g63 sadly until now, but I do know that they are easy to mess up and I do not want to ruin this car. The ppl i got it from started to mess it up pretty good by messing up the vacuum lines and putting a 2g supra fmic on it. I took that off and redid the vacuum lines back to factory, but I want to put a whole new turbo kit on it and exhaust. It doesn't have to been a big kit just something that will produce 300-400 hp. I need to know any info you can give me for this car so ### feel free to I.M. me. I am open to all suggestions. Thanks for your time.

The EVO3 16G is a really nice bolton turbo. It spools like the stock 14b, but is capable of 24-25psi, but be sure to get the turbine/wastegate area ported to avoid creep issues. You are also going to need some big fuel upgrades to support it, like 750cc injectors and a bigger fuelpump. The stock 1G MAS is also a huge limitation, so think about the better 2G or 3G/EVO MAS.
What fuel do you have available? Can you get E85 in your area?
What was wrong with the Supra intercooler install? A bigger intercooler is usually a great idea.

What exactly was wrong with the lines and the Supra IC is an upgrade over the stock setup and is good for some decent midrange numbers before heat soaking.

Before you begin "hot roding" your car you should take a look at what you have.

How many miles does the the car have?
Does it burn oil?
What condition is the clutch in, what about steering etc.

Before you start trying making big power everything else should be looked at also I hate to say it what are your mechanical skills and what kind of equipment do you have.

The car is showing to have 120,000 miles on the odometer. I don't really know if that i correct or not, but the car is running strong.

After I took the supra fmic off bc it was beat up and had a lot of leaks and i hooked up the factory boost controller it is hitting a consistent 10 psi.

Somewhere down the road somebody took off the ps but the car turns very well and the awd system is working great. The car hasn't used any oil that I have seen it just needs a oil change and the coolant needs flushed.

I have access to E85 and that is what I want to tune this car for. I am new to the tuning world so I need all the info I can get. I am a student at UTI in Avondale Arizona so i have access to lifts and tools, so just let me know what steps i should start taking to make this car what it can be.

Oh and firefighter I didn't take any offense to that. I have worked on the 420a cars but not the 4g63. My mechanics skills are pretty good if i know the steps to take. Like i mentioned before I have access to lifts and air tools if i need them, and I am in a mechanic college so my skills should be getting a lot better.
