That car is Totaled. I would buy the shell and strip everything you can and find another shell.
Good to see that you made it, shows the survivability of an accident in a 1g. .

In any case that car is totalled. The year of that car an coupled with the extensive damage makes it not worth your time. I would suggest getting another DSM for cheap and start at ground zero again. Glad to hear your ok tho. :)

First off - Where in here does it say how the car ended up like this? Was it stated and then removed? Are people just assuming? Someone please fill me in, as it seems like it's a very simple thread.

navarro - Please take a look at the site rules. Also, please learn to use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. Also, do not flame any members on here, and no one should flame you. You know the Golden Rule, right?

Achelea - Next time just use the report post button and let the staff take care of the issues. No need to try and fix things yourself.

greyspyder117 - What do you mean "why was i edited?"

In his original post he had a description about how he got into the accident, for some reason that is gone? with no edited note? Maybe its a defiant trick?

In the original post he talked about how he was racing a vr4 going 150mph and a truck cut him off and could only slow down to about 120mph before he rear ended the person.

I've noticed the edit trick as well. If you don't put anything in the reason box it usually doesn't show up.

So wait. let me understand this.

You purchased a 1g that is a FWD, and you plan on converting it to a AWD?

Do you have the money and the resources? Because it's not impossible, but it's not practical or efficient.

Do your research. Use the search button.

there is 2 awd shells that i know of that are 500 and 1 has a motor that needs to be finished has a cage 5 piont harnesses and some other stuff.

why dont u sell the non-turbo and save up for a awd rolling chassis.

Keep the non turbo as a daily driver and save for a rolling shell, The trans might not be in the best of shape for a direct swap. Also, the rear end on the cars is Vastly different.

Here is the merged thread about a FWD to AWD swap.
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/276892-fwd-gst-swap-awd-gsx-basic-merged-2-07-a.html

Road Race Engineering did a FWD to AWD swap and it cost about 6k. The floor plan is completely different, as well as the rear suspension set up is different, gas tank needing welding. For the amount of work and cost, you could get the other shell, swap the motor, wait for a AWD and reswap, and still have money left over to get some good handling taken care of. And still able to buy a drink when your done.
