None of them will be really LOUD if you recirculate it like your supposed to so in that case you should get the cheapest one that will funtion the best. An Evo IX bov or a 1g DSM bov will hold boost better than your stock 2g bov...
yea im not planing on recirulating it. its not really going to hurt anything i dont think. i just want people to hear it. like my friend has an srt4 and his shits loud he lives 5 blocks away from me and i can hear it from my house.

Yeah dude seriously. Your car WILL run like shit if you dont recirculate it.
Maybe you should go get an srt instead. Since the sounds are so important to you i dont think a DSM is the car for you. Give it to someone else. For the cars sake. Before body kits and painted interior starts going on... haha

Look at this picture of my engine bay...ok y does it ne to be recirculated? and i dont have any body kits going on or am i painting te inside. i got a 98 talon i was thinking about doing the eclipse conversion but im prob going to stay with the talon . im doing a 6 bolt swap but the guys shop that my friends go to said it doesnt need to be recirculated none of the cars he has worked on are and there running fine and there fast. and i dont understand why you guys have to talk shit im just asking a question

Look at this picture of my engine bay...
If you see where the bov recirculates it is AFTER the MAS (mass airflow sensor) on the intake.
The MAS takes a reading of how much air has passed it going into the motor, with that measurement it tells the ECU how much fuel it needs for "X" amount of air thats been accounted for. If you DON'T recirculate the air thats released by the bov thats already been accounted for by the MAS, then you will create a rich condition in the engine after every shift...
Make sense?

The HKS SSQ bov is one of the loudest on the market if you don't recirculate it, but one of the quietest when it is. For the noise your looking for and your car to run right I would try to find an old Greddy Type S or the Ebay version of that bov. (ebay one is still a good bov) The sound of the Greddy Type S is a good one even when its recirc'd, it won't echo down the block like your buddies SRT4 but you will hear it. Besides, if you own your car for more than 2yrs eventually you stop caring about the noise...Yea. How does it sound when it's recirculated? What type do u have HKS?
