Ok well.... my friend picked up an '91 Talon TSi FWD today and that thing was something ive never seen before. First there was like 1 bolt holding the cross-member motor mount on and one bolt holding the trans motor mount.
thats 1 problem. the second problem is there is an idleing problem it surges from anywhere between 1200-1500 RPMs to about 500 back and forth, only when idleing. Next problem there is a 3in down pipe...and that it no res, cat, or muffler at all(back pressure???) and last but not least im blown away by this sight. No Blow-off valve??? WTF is this right? i didnt think a turbo car would run, let alone drive with out a BOV. There is just IC piping going straight to TB and Turbo, no BOV at all. Car has a small 16g with 12psi of da boostness. Looking for a reason why the BOV wouldnt be on the car, and trying to figure out the Idle surge problem, it might be a Idle Speed Controller or Idle Air Control Valve or WTFever its called.
