:banghead: ok so heres the story. one weekend i relocated my batteryy to the trunk fixed up my intake and did some cleaning and tucking, when i went to start my car my batt was dead so i boosted it, when i tried to start it, it took a while then finally started but barley idled and ran so rich my mom came out of the house cause it was so smelly. ive now changed my igniter, coil, maf, moved the battery back to the front, changed idler and tensioner pullys and water pump (they were loose), gapped my plugs and still, runs like POO oh and i put in a different ecu but the results were the same. any suggestions? i was thinking of some sort of relay? oh and i tested my battery and alternator and they were ok...

IS the check engine light on? Bad idea to just start buying parts for it. There are ways to test every electrical part. It i had to guess i would say that it is map sensor related.

well i had a spare maf, igniter and ecu, but i tested te voltage on the spark plug wires and they were low so i figured it was the coil.

If you put it all back to the way you found it you had to have done something to the wiring or what ever you did to the intake if you extened or shorted wires check the connections you made and so on. If it was fine before somethings wrong with what you did. I relocated my battery and the car sat for about 2 months waiting on a shep trans. It took about 2 or 3 mins of running it to get rid of the misfire from it sitting now it is perfect.

i just did that today and found my problem, when i drilled te hole in the fire wall for the cable, i cut a wire that ran from the ecu :/ put that back together, but sstill runs a little rought. im possitive it has somthing to do with my o2 sensor connection, cause i saw that 2 of the wires are exposed before the connector. and thanks iuggrad92turbo, that info is very usefull :thumb:

sounds like u should have all of your vacuum lines and checked to make sure everything was hooked up right before u went and changed all them parts
