Running RICH

OK guys bone stock first gen running insanely rich then engine light turns on and it dies out after about 10 seconds total run time new battery and fuel filter installed still same problem unplugged maf to check with maf unplugged died almost instantly no more than 2 seconds of run time any help would be awesome

the codes may just be putting you into a limp mode. where it makes the car run rice, because rich is safe.

I would pull the ecu and do a visual on the board. You will notice a bank of black rectangles all in a row. It will be obvious if they are baked. Had that happen to me once. one day it ran fine....then crapped out.
