As the title says my goal for this car is to run 10's with the 50 trim while keeping the stock bottom end. I am going to try and do it on just boost. But I have a bottle waiting to go on the car and will put it on if need be to reach my goal. Once I reach that goal or the bottom end goes(whichever comes first) I am going to build the block and will add pictures from that to this thread also. I will be updating this thread as I do things to the car. Expect this thread to last a few months at least.

My ultimate goal for the car after I build the bottom end is to run low 10's on boost with a different turbo. Then I will add the bottle with a 75 shot and try to break 9's.

I modded the gm maf. This is a common free mod for the LS1 guys, basically all of them report op end gains. But I have only heard of one guy doing it with a dsm.

Hey guys i just finish the mod to the GM 3" MAF sensor and it work great the car spools even faster now and has a lot more top end power ....thanks 1992awdlaser as soon as i saw this i knew it was an excellent free mod ...i open it up as much as i could before my carbite bit gave up ...:thumb::thumb::D:D U :hellyeah::hellyeah:

Sorry I haven't posted on here. I have been busy trying to make it where I can accomplish my dream(life, not car) and haven't had much time to log on.

I haven't been able to do much to the car because of this. I have started doing things the past couple of days though. I have had a couple of problems with equipment that is only needed for the street. So, I decided I am going to make it a dedicated track car. I am in the process of taking out every wire I can for now. This will include head lights, turn signals, horn, all but one brake light, etc. I am pulling the engine on Wednesday to make it easier to eliminate a lot of the wiring in the engine bay. My goal weight is in the 2500's without any money spent on the outside of the car. Goal weight with fiberglass parts is in the low 2400's. The fiberglass parts are a ways off though.

I will try to get pictures on Wednesday of me pulling the engine and pulling the wires.
