Oh yea, forgot to mention I kinda got carried away with with back end. So much for my original idea of strictly street and original interior:ohdamn:

The last few pictures are the most recent of the car that I have to date.

Thanks guys! However, still a lot of work left to do. Getting ready to tune, then the car goes in for body work and paint within the coming weeks. The pictures are very deceiving, a lot of small dents and some fading are noticable up close. But from a far she looks like a million bucks haha

Nice, can't wait to see it when it's done!

Are the gold braces in the trunk area oem? I don't remember any of my 1gs having them..

Yes there oem, however they aren't much for actual body structure support. It looks cool but there chincey thin tin bars used to support the carpets ply wood that covers your spare tire.

Nice build. How long did it take you?

Thank you! It has taking extremely longer than a typical build of this size. I started the project around last august while I was on my mid tour leave from Iraq. I just ordered all the parts via dsmparts and extremepsi an a few private sellers. I could have early had the car done in a month or two of hefty work. However, I recently received my Lisence back and only recently have had more than 2hrs on a given Saturday to get any work done. It also hinders my work time with having to work on the car at two different locations instead of my own place and having to work around my friends schedule and mine.

Well on my way home from st Louis right now, but we will begin body work and button up the interior some more tonight. Hope to have pics up soon!

Couple updates. I had to change out my Evo III o2 housing with a megan SS o2 housing. Also, started the process of doing a little engine bay cleaning. Bye bye A/C lines and pump.

Well now that my probation time is over, was wondering if a moderator wouldn't mind moving my build to the appropriate build location?

Bumping the thread. Just trying to get a mod to move this thread to
The build section so it won't keep disappearing into the black abyss of the newb section. Thanks!

Slow down cowboy it will get taken care of sometime it's like 3 am LOL, most people asleep except people like me that just had a baby -.-. Nice build keep it coming. Hows that test pipe is it resonated too?

Awesome build! Just one question though. One picture is of your goodies stored at your girlfriends house. Another picture is of your wife helping with the build. Here's the question. Where the hell did you find two women to put up with this obsession? Lol

He asked for it to be moved close to 10 months ago. How much slower do you you want him to go?

I was refereing to him bumping it last night at 3 am anyways whats it matter more people in the newbie section more people ganna read it. Kinda like free publicity. ;)

At the time I started the build my wife was my girlfriend at the time. This build took me over a year because I was constantly being deployed to Iraq.

Also, I'd like it to be moved to the build section because threads seem to disapear in matter of minutes in the newb section.
