I just got mine running the other day with 10.5 CP pistons on a .020 overbore and its a LOT better.

well i actually broke my udp when i was getting it off the block so i have to buy a new one.. so im ordering a light weight one off ebay for 40 bucks.. thats whats holding me back right now.. as soon as i get that on, i can drop the motor..

Fyi i will be right there in the prothane boat with you by this saturday. haha. Launed my car yesterday and the built motor with a stage 3 clutch ripped both the front and rear mount.

Looks like ill have to live with the vibration. But i believe it will be worth it.

I did not i will deff check that out. I was trying to stay away from prothane at least until i was turbo because of the vibration but after seeing that, im not chancing it.

dudes the vibration isnt that bad if you do just the front and rear roll stoppers
i got that set up now and my engine is stiff as hell and there is little vibration

Really? That sounds like a good idea. I will probaly try that. Not to mention those are the two easiest mounts to do.

That 75 shot on your compression is no biggie, also if you go turbo later dont be surprised to be some knock while your tuning.

i am almost done. i have decided to eliminate the ac and power steering.. i just have to buy a new altenator belt and figure out where these wires go. i cant find where these last 2 connections go..
any idea?

Wow your car is so nice and the build looks like its coming along great, makes me want to turbo my 420a but sadly I'm poor .

Veryyy clean build. Not much of a chrome person but i love it!

The top pic looks like the plug that goes to your coil pack. The bottom one I was going to say map sensor but I dont think so anymore. ha. Not sure just throwing those out there especially since it looks like you dont have the coil pack or the map sensor on.

Anyway, you may want to hold off on removing the power steering. If you have ever driven without it on these cars, IT SUCKS. I was having belt issues so I took mine off for a week or so and completely hated it. Its nice to have the extra room but most mods we do wont impact where the ps is other than it does clean up the bay a bit.

I have removed the ac which gave me a TON of space for my turbo and piping and everything else I could want and the included lines. This saves some weight too but it definitely is a big space saver besides I dont use the ac anyway.

thanks yeah i forgot that i didnt have my coil pack on, im pretty sure the top pic is to my coil pack. but the bottom pic is not to my map sensor, i already have that connected..

my daily driver oldsmobile alero doesnt have power steering so i know how that is.. im used to it..
