My current project

Just wanted to introduce myself.I'm in the middle of a build.Heres a pic of my new GT-42 hung on Sean Glazars HKS manifold.i also just bought his intake manifold with 90mm TB,Shep racing dogbox with 5th gear delete and EVO 8 spline,SSR 15" rims w/MT 24.5x8x15,Weldon 2345A pump,HKS 50mm wastegate(also off Sean's car)PTE 1,600cc injectors,-10 lines,Tilton twin disc clutch,10 pt. chrome molycage,and everything else needed to go roughly 8.50's at 165mph.I'm in the put together process.As of right now the car is still capable of low 10 second passes.We just put about $25,000 in to it,and last years build cost about $20,000 including the cost of th car.I do all the fabbing myself,or else I would have spent a lot more on the build having someone else do the work.

I've got a few E6k's sitting around,and thats what is in it right now.I'm going to step up to an E11v2 in the spring though.The cage is being built right now.10pt. moly cage.I just bought the adapter plate for the 4G63 for the flow bench we have at the shop,and we just got a balancer so we can balance entire engines now.I've got a set Eagle rods in it right now,but I've got another block with Pauter billet chrome moly rods,Ross pistons,and this motor is fully coated by Swaintech.All the piston skirts,the valves,everything.Plus I've got a set of them black cadium or cad whatever wrist pins .They look like onyx.I ran them in my last motor and after a season of racing you pop them out and they look new still.So all in all the motor thats gonna be in the car in the spring will be able to withstand every bit of 1000whp.The motor that resides in the engine bay as of right now will handle about 700whp maximum.So,I just may max out the PTE SC-6152E before I put the GT-42 in.The fuel system that I'll be attempting 1000whp with is already on the car,so 700whp will be nothing.I'll post a ppic when the cage is done.I'm getting the parachute put on as well.Should be done the week before christmas.The shop that does them is envolved in dirt oval racing so there kinda' busy for the nex few weeks.It'll be done soon though.Shearer is gonna build me the manifold though.It's gonna be bad ass.4 EGT probes.One in each runner.He does awesome work/
