my 2g gst

hey guys i am new to the dsm forum and i have a 2g gst and i was wondering what are some good budget mods to put on my gst?

The very first "mods" after the maintenance, should always be a wideband and a boost gauge. Buy and install those first. Should run about $280 new. Then you will be on your way.

ok thanks man,yeah i bought it off of some dude that tore up the exterior of it and its clean on the inside and the engine is good,ima do a oil change on it and get those parts like you said. how hard is the install one those parts??

how much boost is the stock setup capable of holding without sending the rods through the bottom end,im going to run stock psi,but im curious.

That all depends on what condition of the current car, mother trans, HG, turbo,all that..

So I really cant tell you that..

But the stock block record was a 9 second car..We have multiple stock block folks here on the site with 4/450/500+ on that stock block.
