Ok guys need some advise before ripping my car apart. I fired up my car for the first time in 3 yesterday. It ran ok but I did notice a little smoke out of the tail pipe. This morning I took a look at the coolant and oil and the oil was MILKY WHITE! Coolant is still a nicr neon green. I went and got the compression tester and got 125-130 across the board. My motor has 8.5 pistons and 272 cams. I have never compression tested this motor in the past so I don't know if these numbers have dropped. One thing I was thinking is I did leave the drain plug off for about 3 weeks and I work on my car outside. Let me know what you guys think.

It has moisture in the oil...from somewhere. Is it a tanish white? That is always (or everytime I have experienced it) a sign that you have water/moisture in it. I would change it and then keep an eye on it if the car is running ok. If it gets milky again then you know it is getting in from the engine itself, not from leaving a plug out. Do you have a picture of the oil? That helps in diagnosis.

Could be a slight headgasket leak. Honestly leaving a plug out ain't going to create That much moisture to cause milky white oil. Have you done any type of oil treatment?

Little smoke + milky oil? Sounds just like a slight head gasket leak, like above said change the oil and see if it gets milky again.
Have you drivin it enough to realize if you are losing coolant? Your car will heat cycle fine until you lose enough coolant and could take a while depending on the HG leak.

I am assuming you meant 3 years, and I'd that's the case, it's condensation that has gotten into the engine. Drain the oil, refill, replace the filter, and run the engine for a few minutes.
Recheck the oil and see how it looks. If condensation got to the oil, you might have some rust on the cylinder walls as well. The new oil might help, but only time will tell. Recheck the compression after running the new oil, and with it good and warmed up.

Just like the above poster said if you have let the car sit for three years without it running then it is most likely condensation that has built up over time. Easiest way to verify is to change the oil and just keep an eye on whether it goes milky again or not.

Yeah im gonna say head gasket. The drain plug was off for about 3 months not years. I already ordered the stuff for a hg job. Also I was using a harbor freight compression tester which are notorious for being 30 - 40psi low and inaccurate, so i might as well just guess 4 numbers. I'm thinking the cometic hg the p/o used didn't seat right(notorious). I'm going to pull the head and check the condition and use a mitsu composite and copper spray with some l19's I have and see how it goes. It sucks because I only have a few hours a week to work on my car so I'm going to try and take a few days off to tackle this job....

WOW, looks like straight milk!!! Does anybody realize how much condensation would be needed to turn oil white especially like that? I don't think its possible from condensation. I figured it was a HG (too many experiences:toobad:)
I know i'll probably get criticized for this but believe it or not I have used HG sealant before on three 4Runners. I used (Thermagasket from RXauto.com) not cheap auto store brand and had great success. I still have one of the 4Runners and has had Thermagasket in it for 3 1/2 years daily driven.
With that being said I WOULD NOT use anything like this in a high hp motor such as the OP's, just stating that it can work.
At least changing the HG you can re-fresh all the rest on the way up. Good Luck!!!

Milky white oil sounds like a head gasket to me. Try a radiator pressure tester and see if your system holds at 13 psi. I know Autozone rents them out.

Probably head gasket and if that's what it is you may want to check out you're rod bearings also and make sure they look good otherwise you'll have worst problems later on.
