Ok so this might be stupid to be asking but what other parts beside the BOV are good to take from a 1G to put on a 2G? I have a 1G BOV and my friend said I could have any part I wanted from his 92 Laser RS because he was parting it out. So is there anything else worth taking off it for my 2G or is the BOV about it? Thanks!

14B turbo is a good thing to grab, BOV, grab the motor if its a 6 bolt

Its a decent upgrade, not nearly as gutless as the t25. I would grab it, especially since its free

Yeah the 14B is defiantly an upgrade from the T25 the 14B maxes around 275whp with proper fuel mods. But i do have a E3B16G if your interested

Grab the TB,Intake Manifold,CAS,Cams (some have higher lift then others),Turbo,Head *and thermo housing,Block, Rods,Oil Cooler housing,Flywheel,ECU,Coil Pack,Wire harness (CAS)

That would be a good list or things to take that could be worth selling or keeping for future projects. Some parts are bought often like ones for 6bolt swaps. You could get a good $400 or so on here selling what you can get from the car... Given back a few bucks to your friend would probably be nice

Well as i stated previously the whole engine is already reserved for my friend. So like the head and block and everything inside it is already his. :/

you'll need the exhaust mani if your takin the 14b since yours has a diff flange(t3/t4 i believe) and youll need his O2 housing . def a good upgrade or jus get the 16g to save a later mod (you'll still need the header either way and O2 . Gl and happy tuning

I'd definitely grab the 14b. You need the same install kit for it as a 16g so even if you'd ever plan on upgrading to a 16g later, it would be no trouble. I almost had the exact same scenario with my friends 90 Laser RS Turbo, but the bastard decided to keep it a little longer haha.
