I'm interested to find out. Its there a way I can clear out the tail light lenses, or even a portion of it so its not red but rather clear.(this is for a 2g that I'm looking for.) Or get lenses from some place clear. I'm looking to get them clear cause I wanna do some custom work to them. Thanx :dsm:

I'm assuming this is not your car then? You can get clear ones but I'm told that they are not legal in some states. Take a pipe and smash out your tail lights and voila! There's no way to clear them out. You have to replace them.

hehe ... "smash em" ... uh ya u do have to replace cant clear

I was curious if there was a way to get clear ones so i can make then look like the Euro version. half red half orange. I'm not interested in the 500 a set that i found, thought I can try to custom make my own.

you can get clear ones for under $100 on ebay. There not the best quality in some cases, but you can find good ones. I got a set of carbon fiber ones and I havent had any probles with leaks or anything.
