because ppl keep saying lock the flywheel to break the crankshaft pulley bolt loose but where is the flywheel? PIC PLS?!

The flywheel is between the engine and manual transmission, you can't realy get a good bite on it so I would use a chain wrench to hold the pulley or if you have air use an impact. Otherwise you can put the car on the ground and leave it in gear. Good luck!

if i just jacked up the front left side and then I left the right front on the ground do you guys think that'd be ok or does it need the full weight of both you think? I already got the front left off for the timing belt cover and all, would be hard to get a grip on it with it all back on there....don't wanna damange any valves or anything in this process, and nope, no air :(

I would not reccomend that because the car may fall off the jack stand. Try to locate a chain wrench. If you can't get one try with the left front off the ground just be CAREFULL!! Lock the e-brake and use wheel chucks.

I can try to get one today, everywhere has said the same thing, snap-on, find a truck or order one. On another note can you buy ARP headstuds at any stores? or do you have to order them online?

Two words...IMPACT WRENCH. I had to do this with mine and it worked like a charm. Not only that, but you have to torque it back to 85ft/lb when you put it back on. Just save yourself the hassle and find somebody with a compressor and wrench and youre golden.

I swear my manual said to break the middle bolt loose but all you have to loosen is the 4 small bolts on the pulley, DUH, thanks for all the help :) i got the pulley off, now just gotta get all the timing set and we're golden, thx again :) :D :D :D

getting the timing belt cover and everything else off the motor was not bad at all if you have any clue what you're doing, could prob do it in about 2 hours off, 2 on, and one to make sure timing etc is all right. Doin the head gasket now also tho....we'll see if i can get all that stuff in order :barf: :barf:
