Will it be laggier with what you have now? Yes. Being a 16g and it spools quick as it is will it be a hinderance or even noticeable? No.

Being you plan to run e85 people often overlook a sidemount is going to go a bit further than it would with pump gas, but to run the 16g turned all the way out your best bet is to just keep the front mount and KNOW you’ll have enough. With e85 I’m convinced you could get away with a Supra sidemount with the 16g turned all the way out, but since you have the front mount there’s nothing to gain by getting rid of it.

For 350whp, I’d absolutely go FMIC but stay with 2.25” piping; the 2.5” is added lag for no benefit.

On this note even for 500awhp I wonder if even 2” piping would be a restriction. Say 2” to the intercooler and 2.25 or 2.5” from the cooler to the TB. Me and my fabricator discussed this at length. He’s built RB26 intercooler piping that’s 2” and it out down like 760awhp. Spools a little better too since it’s less volume.

Idk. Just wondering at what point 2.5” intercooler piping is actually necessary.

When Phil Beers was chasing 14b times I want to say he went deep 12s if not as quick as 11s on the stock rubber intercooler hoses, so that says a lot of us have technically over killed it . This makes me say 2” would be plenty sufficient.

That's a surprise for me so you can are saying is better to go from the 3" FMIC outlet to 2" pipes?
