2G Metal BISS screw?

Does anyone know if/where we are able to purchase a metal BISS screw for our OEM throttle bodies? All I have seen is the S90 replacement on STM but nothing for OEM?

All of my 1g's have plastic BISS screws. I think iugrad is right. Plastic is fine as long as you don't use a breakover bar to tighten it with and use a new oring.

It took me a few years to find a metal biss screw and one that was abke to be used again as they all rust! Lucky i got mine from a member and i had it dipped and re zinc plated again

They were discontinued years ago; just grab a new one and coat it with synthetic grease, and install the dust cap. Should last another 15-20 years.

Ok thank you. Im surprised that there isn't a billet aluminum aftermarket screw, but ohwell...plastic will do for now

Because MD614948 is about $1.75 each. That's why. It is cheaper to replace it every decade.
