Megan Racing: Updated AWD Downpipe and Catback! (3in.) Opinions?

Hey Martin, do you know if the 2g MR coil overs fit all 2g models? RS, GS, GST and GSX?
 
Now we just gotta wait for the tubular mani with the DSM collector.
 
from what they tell me those manifolds will be available soon. We did get their first prototype and it didn't fit perfectly so they decided to do it over. The issue was minimal but calvin seems to be a perfectionalist.
 
That is awesom, Wish I didn't buy the stupid pacesetter downpipe, had to gring off the flange welds and re weld it my self, I don't know who does pacesetter's welding but honestly the first weld job I ever did was better then thats piece of crap from pacesetter.

Did you have the same issue that I had? On the :dsm: flanged manifold, one of the runners was too close to the head flange and it was hard to get a nut on there and another runner was too close to the valve cover, but fit other than that. The T3 one fit great for me.

that was the problem we had. We also had a runner hitting the valve cover. It was just impossible to make work.

I have the T3 manifold, my turbo is a 60-1 with a bullseye housing that has a T3 inlet witht the DSM discharge. Beleive it or not even with all that my stock O2 and down pipe still line up. It's a bit tight and the down pipe sits close to the x-case but it amazes me. I really like the setup.

Martin, does bullseye offer that housing normally? I'm in definite need of one (buying a t3 turbo) and I already have the MR tubular mani. It'd help us all if we could just swap the turbine housing and bolt it up to our o2 housings (plus the fact that I already have a o2 housing custom made to fit the bullseye turbine outlet).
 
Just a warning, EBStores has active auctions on the 3" MR DP for 89-94AWDs on eBAY and I know for a fact (since I bought one from them and wonderded why after two weeks it had not shipped) that those are on backorder for several more weeks.

I also find it odd that EBStores sells a "different" 89-94AWD downpipe with the same picture used for the MR :notgood: :dsm:

May want to keep this thread on topic (i.e. MR Downpipes) and not coil springs, exhaust housings or manifolds) :dsm:

Not to sound like an idiot if it has already been asked, but I didn't want to have to read through 8 pages of material.

Are there any thoughts to include a resonator in this exhaust? What is the estimated price/time of release?

As for the angled muffler, I can't imagine that a slight bend placed right before the muffler would truly hurt the exhaust that much. If it was a very small angle, which is all it would need to take most of the agression out of the angle that the muffler has, it would still have a near 3" effective flow area. All you would need would be to reduce the angle by 30-50% and it would look fine, just like the Apexi.
 
Nah, the thread is not about the problems associated with the angled muffler...Actually, a lot of people believe that the way it angles actually improves flow since the curve is a very small, but flowing bend leading to a straight-thru exit; rather than most mufflers with a straight outlet that have to make a quick bend to straighten out
