So I did searching and I think I found the answer I need, but just want to verify it. I just got my new strut bar today. It's a DC Sports bar for the non-turbo going onto my gst. I knew battery clearance was an issue, but mine is low enough to not arc on the bar. The only thing preventing me from installing it now is the MDP sensor. I understand that if I remove the sensor, it throw a CEL, and that the port would need to be blocked off. My real question I suppose is, is DSMLink the only way to eliminate the CEL from coming on? If so, I'll just do the remote mount for now until I get Link, but is this the only way?

This is with the MDP removed.
