HERE, DAMMIT!

ok n00b question here.. i got my MBC all hooked up fine (dejon tool.. sweet!) i'm just wondering what to do with the stock boost solenoid hoses.. i took the top one completely off (this is the one that was going to my intake pipe.. then capped that nipple on the pipe) .. the one on the bottom, that tees off and goes to both the wastegate and the turbo housing, is still there. i just bent it backwards and stuck it in the bracket that the top hose was at.. its still connected to the solenoid though. is this alright? can i leave it on there like that will it screw anything up?

I took mine out completely, as it connects the wastegate actuator(bottom hose) with the turbo outlet(top hose). These nipples now have my mbc hoses on them. I capped the nipple on the intake pipe like you tho. As well, just for esthetics, I took a short piece of hose and connected the two ends of the old boost control solenoid

ahh i see.. so it doesn't matter much what you do with the stock solenoid hoses :)

i did my install a bit differently from you.. i capped the nipple on the turbo and ran one line to the wastegate.. the other line i tee'd in to the hose coming off the long nipple on my 1G BOV. that's what the directions said on the vfaq and the dejon junx. i guess its either way tho hehehe. thanks. i might just plug the loose line back into the solenoid like u did.

yea, I thought of doing it that way, but for 2 reasons, I chose to do it another way.

first reason is that there are no cut hoses or "t" fittings in my system.

and 2, I can see the whole hose, and get to it very easily where it is. I don't like diggin around when I don't have to.

there are probably more reasons to do it the other way tho, hehe, I'm pretty new to this yet

I am instaling a manual boostcontroller and a boost gauge...I was just wondering where to tap the conenctions in.I know I have seen some info on this but cant find it.I saw a page with pics and info on how to do it but cant remeber where? Does any one know or can help me out herè? Wont put the MBC in til I know my bosst gauge is correctly installed:)

Would like to se a pic of the hoses and connections that hey will be hooked up to if possible...I have a 1997 GST Spyder.

I need some help on installing my turboxs MBC on my 95 GSX.
I've already read some of the posts by other people, but I still can't
understand how to do it. Do you have to disconnect the boost soloniod
hoses completely? I don't know! It's hurting my brain! STOP!
Can anyone shed some light on the subject.

intake mods: HKS BOV, Injen intake

alright
here is how to do it

take BOTH hoses from the bcs and pull them off
save them. never know when you might need vacuum line

disconnect the hose on the pressure side of the turbo
cap it off

place a "t" fitting about 5 inches away from the bov line
run that line to the "in" side of the mbc
run the out side to the wastegate actuator

BAM
done

you can do what you want with them
plug em, leave em open, doesn't matter either way
mine on my tsi are left open and the bcs is somewhere under the air filter
don't unhook it. just tuck it out of the way

ok, I hear that several people use the fitting off the turbo outlet elbow to hook up to the "in" side of the mbc, and several others that hook it into the vacuum lin that goes to the blow off valve.

Positives and negatives of both would be apreciated.

Right now mine fits to the turbo outlet elbow.
