I recently swap parts and modifications from a GST to new GSX. Other then the obviously drive train components, there were very few difference between these two cars. Unforchinatly the new GSX dint have power window and locks so I decided to attempt the swap of these components into my GSX. Lucky for me I was able to find a decent "how to" of the process here on tuners that made things a lot easier.

- Near each doors under the dash, disconnected and pulled the door wiring harnesses through the door hinge from the GST (power windows).
- Now that I had the wiring harnesses out of the doors, I added some quality speaker wire (2 strands, tweeter/mid) to later power my door speakers.
- (windows may not work until you have the installation is complete)
- Everything went well for the power window swap; However, the power lock swap was a PITA!
- You'll have to pull the "intire" locking mechanisms from the doors of both vehicles and reinstall the power ones.
- There is a door lock control box at the passenger side kick panel that will be needed from the downer car as well as fuses and relays that are located to the engine box.
- I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO COMPLEAT MY POWER DOOR LOCK CONVERTION.
I have everything install in the GSX and still have no power. I guess I gave up do to the problem and don't feel its completion all that important with the windows working perfectly; I may have missed a relay or fuse somewhere along the way. I will look into the locking problem further when have more time.
