Well I picked up a 93 Eclipse 2.0 N/T during the fall as a DD.I have always loved how they looked and finally got one.Right now the car is electron blue metallic with stock everything but a vibrant stealth muffler.This car needs alot of work but being use to v8 engines(i have a 93 camaro z28 and a 00 camaro z28 convertible) I am ready for something new.so far plans for the car are:
-New Paint Job (it was originally red but the previous owner painted it but didnt do any prep work so it's peeling, i think i'm going with white)
-Fenders and rear quarters need replaced due to rust.
-Headlights are being painted blck on the insides
-Full sound deadening(should be here this weekend)
-Short throw shifter(also ordered)
-General Maintenance
-Still deciding about the engine,wanting to build one with 350hp and also upgrade the drivetrain to handle it.
-Lower it and upgrade suspension.This is the part I need help with because being use to my camaros, im use to full suspension meaning subframe connectors,lower contol arms,swaybars,torque arm,etc. what is full suspension on a dsm?
I'll update this as progress is made,ill also post up pics soon.
