So I figured I would start one of these after spending the last 4 years driving, modifying, breaking, hating, working but always loving my 90 AWD.
I bought my car when I was 17. My dad randomly ran into a guy that he used to work with from a town 45 mins away, he told him about a talon he had for sale if anyone was interested. I was looking for one so I like to think this was fate. We traveled up to check it out. I fell in love. Exactly what I wanted 90-91, white & black, turbo AWD.
The cars drivetrain has been through hell since the day it was put on the road. Three transmissons, Three motors, two clutches. I don't regret any of it I was young and dumb.
So this is where the build thread starts. My car was mostly stock doing upgrades as I went. But In the last year or so I decided to get serious and build a car to be a street/strip daily drivable beast.
I've been collecting parts for the motor which will consist of Manley h-beam rods, Mahle Pistons, stock crank, .20 over block. I'll be trusting the engine assembly to a local 1 man machine shop. With some guidance I've ported the head to smooth out the flow.
Delta K272's will be on the way soon. I purchased some supertech dual valvesprings to control the valve events. I'll be re-using my wh1c turbo w/ bep housing, ported 2g mani, and custom O2 housing. I have a friend that is a skilled welder and we will be attempting to make a custom intake manifold using the ported stock 1g runners.
Here are some pictures of the car over the years and some parts for my current build. Will have some more pics up later on.

Nice car though and good luck!
