So I hit my 50+ post mark today, and now I am a proven member. With this it seems I can use the blog function as well. Good for me, I think everyone on myspace is tired of hearing little stories about my talon by now. 
Part of the problem might just be that I am always busy working or doing something else and I never seem to have the time to work on the damn car. The other half of the problem is surely the simple fact that the car is almost never in good running condition. Hopefully the second part will be changing soon enough.
I finally got the oil cooler replaced on my Talon. It was a mess, that old thing would leak coolant all over the place if I even slightly got onto it. No fun at all. I am too broke to pick up the 90 style oil cooler setup, so a new stock oil/water one will have to do. I am just happy to be able to drive the damn car to work. My oil pressure is really high I have noticed, but I bet it was always like that, I just never knew cause the sensor was busted before...
All I am waiting on now is the grommets and insulators so I can install my new fuel injectors. After they go in I will put the SAFC II in as well. After those guys get in there, Hopefully that can all happen this weekend. Oh and I got some new (NGK) plugs and wires as well. That should pretty much catch me up on my maintenance. I still need the belts, but the previous owner said he replaced them not too long ago (although he couldn't give me a date). They don't look to be in bad shape, but I figure better safe than sorry. But those will have to wait for another weekend, as I don't have the funds to get them just yet.
Perhaps also on the plan will be my 3" Dejon downpipe and exhaust combo. They have been sitting in my closet for a while, I was going to wait till I picked up a wideband since the bung is welded in there already, but they don't look as nice in the closet as they would on the car so...
