MAFT Pro Clarification - speed density and other options explained

I bought my Maft Pro somewhere 6 months ago, and already running it for about 2 months - IMO: I can not tell enything bad about this thing, futhermore - IMHO it is the best thing on the market at present time (if counting properties + price). After installation of speed density with Maft Pro my car didnt even felt any difference and worked great.
And it could be even much better if it could count knoks, but... anyway, it is upgradable, so may be it will can in future

So I take it that you like this? I stumbled accross it and keep thinking about how badly I need to finish fixing my car the way it needs to be. I was looking at the websites and they have a lot of odd contractions for the functions and menus. Do you pretty much have to carry around a manual to make adjustments or does it do what it says it does and trys to maintain specefic AFRs? How easy to compensate for injectors?

Yeah, but you really gotta know what you're doing to run ds-map. Seems you at a miniumum you need some basic understanding of hex and 68hc11. There's noone exactly spoon feeding how to tune it and play with the coding, even if you do read the yahoo dsm-ecu group for hours.

I'd like to clear up what could be a bit of misinformation. Timing control is only available via the keydriver chip on a 1G, NOT 2G. I spoke with Jeff at keydriver and he said the only way for him to do it on a 2g is if I switched over to the 1G CAS and then I'd have to remap my base timing along with a handful of other things. Just thought you should all know, as IMO, the ability to control timing is very important, and I didnt catch this fact anywhere on their forums or website.
