ok im sick of this damn maft. I bought the whole set up for 100 bucks from my buddy who had a 1g. I have a 2g so i wired the maft into the ecu following the ecu pin map and what each wire is for. I know im solid on the wiring. I then sent wires to my maft and the first time i started it up it ran like 14.0-13.7. alittle rich but i can drive with that a/f. Turn off the car and put everything back together close the hood and ready for test drive. Start it up and it goes to 12.4-12.0. (No response at all from the translator even though it is saying that it is sending signals, hell i said i have 1000cc when i only have 510s)And when i press the pedal down it is like 11.0 to 10.0. What do you guys think would cause this. I think it is a bad maf. I unplugged the maf when i it was idleing and the car did not change a bit. How often do these go bad. Is there any numbers that i can test like voltages that come off the maf?

well i called them and the guy that deals with them is always busy can you call back tomorrow? Hell no i can't i need to know now. LOL. Has anyone had a similar problem with their mafts

update. just changes mafs with my sisters impala LOL. Did nothing. Is the only thing next is to check all the connections ehh. Do the mafts ever go bad???

Ya i changed everything. I simply could get nothing out of it and now i think it is broke. I smelled it and it smells like something is burnt. No lights come on. I wonder if some wires touched. It happened when i was trying to get it home from my girls house. I don't know if fullthrottlespeed could replace the broken and program it for a 2g. What do you guys think. But just to let you know i have heard of three people having 1g maf-ts work for there 2gs
