MAF problems stumped!

I just bought a 95 TSI AWD as the daily driver.. The werid thing is.. I took off the inake and what not to clean it all out and cut the can up.. I forgot to plug the maf back in and the car ran fine if not better.. What are the ods of this?

haha, did you go for a drive? Try to WOT on the freeway, I am pretty sure you're going to bobobobobog all over the place.

If you just let it idle then yeah, it's doable. Try driving it It will be "rough".
