I'm having problems with my maf. In blow through it hits fuel cut at 4000rms but when I move it to the inlet side it runs and boosts like hell. Problem I have is I have a tail bov so I have to run the blow through. I have tried about three different mafs and all the same results. Did a boost leak test and no leaks. New motor and new turbo. It started doing this after I installed a sbr fmic. I have a dsm chip on the way but I would like to know why its doing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The MAF isn't designed to be blow through. The newer GM mafs have been having problems sealing, so you could be having a weird boost leak right at the maf. Have you taken a log? If not, take one and see what happens when you hit 4k.

Link is ok, but nobody knows when they will have SD. I've been running DSMap for close to a year now. It would fix all your problems : D

If I were running a MAF, I would really only use it in draw through.

Speed density system. No more MAS, no more MAF. It's also got all sorts of tuning functions, including a built in logger and native wideband monitoring.

I've been using it for a year, and it's been around for about 4 years. Oh yeah, it's free! The hardware isn't but it's only about $200 for the ostrich and sensors.

This thing is driving me nuts. Just got my chip, no fuel cut, no boost leaks, but still studders at 4k in blow through. If I move it to draw through every thing runs great but my bov is atmospheric. I haven't seen any problems yet but I have read that its not good to do that. I wish I could figure this out I've tried three different mafs all the same results.
