95 Awd TSi auto only mod is 1g BOV running 13psi...

Problem.. Im getting a reading of 1.22g/s through the MAF (mass air flow sensor) w genysis scan tool with the key on engine NOT running. I have tried 2 different MAFS both of which are working correctly on a 96 GST. At curb idle its showing around 3.84g/s and around 18.6g/s at 4000rpm

Was wandering if anybody has access to a scan tool and can tell me what the reading is on theirs and what readings they are getting at curb idle. The car is running really rich and is rather sluggish at bottom ends.

Yes im new to this site but this isnt my first car forum. Please if you dont have any GOOD info dont WHORE this thread im looking for some serious info or help. Ive had this problem since i bought the car 6 months ago and the only CEL/MIL Im getting is IDLE air control which I know is bad.

You do know that if the IDLE control valve is gone it still trys to move while driving? It shakes around the whole time ignition is turned on. Not only when IDLING. Since it can never get to where it needs to be constantly allowing little bits of air threw. Am I now considered a WHORE? ;)

Noo but if you read correctly then you would notice Im getting a + reading of 1.22g/s on the scan tool with the car NOT RUNNING. So the bad IAC cant be the culprit. And it works at times just not at others... The car idles fine only surging once in awhile but still throws the code everytime it does. Which leads me to believe that my MAF problem is electrical or ECU but from what ive read the 2g's didnt have ECU problems and my car was a one owner and he didnt do anything as far as MODs. Oh i forgot to mention i do have the 1g BBTB on it as well...BUMP*:hellyeah:

All dsms had/have ecu problems they were all mounted at the same spot receiving same beating from weather/heat. I would pull it and check just to rule it out.

:thumb: I think I found my boost leak.. I noticed my top heat shield had a bolt missing after I coated it So i pulled it off to check to see if the mani had any leaks and this is what i found Large crack around #1 tube and two of the bolts were loose that mount the turbo to the mani one of them was about to fall out.... :ohdamn:
