Alright well the car has been surging at idle and breaking up pretty badly with the stock 1g MAF, so a friend gave me his 2g MAF (with adapter plug) everything went on fine.

Hooked up the laptop and made the changes on DSMLink, car idles fine and no more WOT breaking up. Now it seems normal driving is horrible, car acts like it looses power when driving off at a light for example she starts bucking and has no throttle response at times.Eevery now and then the CEL comes on its pretty random.

Plugs/wires/fuel filter is all 2 weeks old its been driving me crazy.

If anybody has any idea on what it could be or have had similar problems please post up!

Thanks

Post a log showing the problems happening. If you have an older V2 package, please add throttle position to the captured values list first. And, of course, include any other sensors you have connected to the ECU (like boost or wideband).

My buddy does all the tuning hes actually on his way now, when we finish ill have him send me the log and will post up!

Thanks!

Alright guys it is indeed the TPS going to get a new one tomm.

Thanks again guys!!!
I actually have the same problem with my 2g MAS in my 1g. I did some tuning with a new BOV and the car runs a little better, but the CEL comes on when at high RPMs. So I'm stumped right there with you what the cause is.

Had the same exact problem with my car. Turned out my TPS was bad. Test it to see if the resistance is good. Might need to replace it.

Hmmm that would make sense about the TPS....

Actually it's looks like someone cut the wires and then then made a failed attempt to solder/heatshrink them....

I'll deff. check that out tho!

Thanks!
