2G Loose wire around alternator

Just had my alternator replaced and one of the wiring was just left hanging by the tech. What should I do or not do? Thanks in advance!

where does the wire go? if its a ground wire, you should connect it to a solid engine ground.

From your picture it looks like the wire is blue with white stripe, which should go to the power steering pump.
Don't mind that the alternator is missing from my car.

With everyone's responses, it seems likely that my disconnected wiring is the power steering pressure sensor cable. Thanks again everyone!
