Loggers question??/

i have a 1990 plymouth laser and wanted to get serious w / some tuning .. what loggers are available for my car? or what is everyone else using ?

I don't know if you noticed, but Gnes100 is driving a 1990 car. If you want a guaranteed setup, go with the PocketLOGGER.

Is that all the information you can offer?

That's an interesting combination, MMCd doesn't do OBD II and 1G ECUs don't support it. Perhaps you ment OBD I cable?

Reference the pocket logger, do you have to buy the palm piece at an electronics store and buy the cable from an internet site, or is there someone who sells a good kit for this.

I am just learning the tuning on dsm's so i didn't want to go all out and get an aem ems, i figured i would work my way up to that.

These are the PDA's that will work with PocketLOGGER: http://digitaltuning.com/index.php?pid=faq_pda_list When you buy their software and cable, you still need a cable (HotSync cable) that interfaces between the PDA and the cable that attaches to diagnostics port. Those HotSync cables are available for few bucks on eBay.

You can buy cheap knock-off software/cable versions on eBay as well.

As I was corrected in the previous post, if you do go with a Palm w/ the MMCD software, you need a OBDI connector.

Personally I use a Handspring Visor NEO (you can get one for $99 on overstock), comes with the Hotsync Cradle so I can download to my PC, my OBDII cable, and Source MMCD(availble free).

The only reason why it's preventing me from buying that is because it can display only two values at time. Rather awkward display too. Plus it has some stuff that's not needed, making things more complicated. Sophisticated product with a crappy display.

ok so i barely saw this today,and my bitchy car is having problems starting...now help a newb out and tell me, which logger is it for a 90 DSM..is it OBD I or OBD II code reader?
does it matter which engine, i have the single cam..someone let me know..thanks in advance.

OBDII is for 95/96+.
