Welp, the last place in my town that sells 93 has announced they will no longer sell it. They are going to 91 for premium. I guess my question is, should i just use 91 with some octane booster in every tank? Or make the jump to E85 and make an 3 hour round trip with some jugs once or twice a month for fuel? closest 93 now is over an hour away same as e85 just the opposite direction. Kinda salty about this honestly. EFF you sams club.

im actually not sure. I didnt even know they sold 93. Def gonna have to check it out after work and see. I also didnt know about that app, i appreciate that.

I used 91 and water meth before going to E85. It was a good in between. I have an AEM unit in the car and it is very nice.

+1 for meth injection. You can buy gallon jugs of pure methanol at paint stores for usually about $10, used to last me about a month mixed 50/50 with distilled water. I made over 630whp on 91 + meth. If you've got Ecmlink, all you need is a relay, pump and nozzle, no controller needed.

It was one of the 1st fueling mods I needed to make. I pickled her so I might need to give the reservoir some fluids. I have boost juice sitting but haven't used it or needed it lately. My controller is blinking at me, telling me it is low on juice. ;)

I am running a 10.0:1 motor, kinda purposely built for E or more but I have to drive 20 minutes one way to fill up or get UP TO 4 5 GALLON CONTAINERS (per DOT LAW, look it up. I had 8 in my vehicle one time, oops).
The Water Meth is a good compromise if you don't have E. Its worth buying a nice setup, what ever brand. I can show what I have if you'd like, just ask. :thumb:

Dude you’re sweating 93-91? You can splash in a gallon or 2 of GODS sweat/e85 and boom. You’ve got 93 Octane. Buy some e85/98 and test it with a tester.
A half gallon of xylene(its about 117 octane) will do a good number on the octane too, usually any hardware/paint store will have it.

For years on V3 I was E50, no flex tune just solid E50.

Meth pumps dying and bottle low can be costly damages so if you do go this route get an Alky Control kit and make sure you install a low level light and listen to Julio, he's an OG alky guy.

91 and Boostane can be a solution but you're in for 5-10k mile 02 sensor swaps.

What I did was let Ecmlink control it, put your normal timing/fuel tables on your MinOct maps, install a pressure sensor on the meth line tied to idle switch input and set it to default to your primary "safe" map with all the timing pulled and tons of fuel added when there's no pressure detected on the line.

Much easier dialing in the meth when Link is controlling it in my opinion.
