2G little smoke comes from ???

so, i changed my battery got the same one and well, whenever i tried starting the car a little bit of smoke came from it the kind you have to pay attetntion for like when blowing a match out but not so excessive, i noticed it coming from near where the gas peddle hooks to the engine (sorry i have no idea what thats called still new to cars) but i wasn't quick enough to figure it out he car cranks but does not fire up what could cause this? and why?

cables hooked up right? did u get them all back on the right positive/negitive side?

Dang, hope you didn't cook up the ECU if you hooked up the battery backwards .... That'd would be where the smoke you saw would be coming from ...

agreed not good.I did that once on a nissan altima and it popped a fuse. check all your fuses but i hope you didnt cook something

no i put the battery on right i cleaned the throttle body but still not firing i evenb bought new spark plugs and spark wire
