just curious, is it necessary to line up the timing marks BEFORE I remove my head? i'm getting a rebuilt stock cylinder head from SIM to replace mine, just curious if I have to screw with aligning all the timing marks before I pull this head off?

You can, but you do not have to. just have the marks close when you go to install the head

Solution
yeah, i planned to have them lined up when i go to install the head, then i'll have more room to work with under the hood(technically I have no hood, but regardless haha)
