lifter tick=knock?

I just installed a big 16g. I have a stage 3 dsm chip and had the stock boost guage converted to read knock. I know its not very accurate but it has be worried. When im barely on the trottle its showing me that Im getting alot of knock. I can also hear my lifters ticking really loud. Could the lifters ticking make it read knock? btw, I ordered 3g lifters and should have them tomm

look thru some of the vendors websites on here. alot of them carry revised lifters for a very good price!

Just replace the lifters.
