So im considering running a holset hx40 6 blade with a Bullseye housing and I have a few questions, well facts I would like confirmed.
First off, where is the preferred place to oil from and at what max pressure? I already have -4an oil feed line and an adapter for the ofh, and to get a banjo fitting to pick up off of the head would be simple too, I just want to know which is best.
The oil drain, -10an still acceptable? And is the flange for a 7bolt oil pan the same as a 6bolt, cause I already have an adapter off of a 7bolt motor.
Any problems with boost creep at lower pressures, say 22-24 psi? I would think with a 38mm waste gate it shouldn't be a problem, but I want to make sure.
If you want to know my mods- stock 6bolt swap. Dsmlink V2. BC 272 cams. FIC 750cc injectors( I know too small to max out the turbo but I wasn't planning on running 40psi. However I am considering a water/meth injection set up.) Wally 255 fuel pump. Sbr race front mount.

Im not really looking for anyone to tell me that I need this part and that part to make this work as I believe I have most of the pieces to make this work, I would just like to know if my assumptions on the subject are correct. Thanks in advance

Yes as stated above, covered numerous times.. Look in the Turbo system forum..

Oh wait look!!

Oh wait look again, an 8 thread long series just about HOLSETS!

Ahh good reads... the drain discussion could probably be edited down to one page since many of the posts in it said the samethings over and over and over...

So how about boost creep at lower boost levels, 22-25psi? I was planning on an external gate off the o2 housing, probably going with 38mm wg, but if creep is an issue I would like to know before I invest in a wastegate and o2housng.

And I have searched only to find a lot of conflicting information, besides, its dead horses that give probationary members a chance to build posts and loose the title:D

Seriously. As others have outlined, there are threads EVERYWHERE on this site regarding Holsets. We literally have people from entirely different platforms all over the world joining our site based solely on the Holset discussions, and you're asking for information based on the DSM platform which has been repeated over and over again.

Also- you're a Proven member...why start such a thread in the Newbie forum? I guess you knew from the get-go that it was destined for the Graveyard.

Lets talk about Holsets? We already have been.
