Lets play what is this with my car

Found some random things not plugged in or anything on my car while redoing some gaskets.
Starting with this. Its plugged into something but just hanging there? What exactly is this that i have to now replace?

And also found this random bolt in the block. It was covered with putty type stuff. Looks newer.

The plugged part is off of an automatic, your car had been converted to a 5-speed with an auto harness being reused instead of swapped out. The bolt location on the front of the block is in line with an oil galley. Leave it alone.
