hey, im about to make me a test pipe and i just wanted to know what was the length of a stock 2g cat? hopefully i can get it done by 2morow. thanks :dsm:

If your exhaust is stock, the Catalytic convertor is 16" long from outside of flange to outside of flange.

If you buy the flanges, and make the test pipe, you can remove it and put the convertor back on if need be.

Good luck.

alrighty, thanks man. Im lookin forward to see how much gains ill notice with it off.

Oh, and another thing, will it make my car sound more deeper and louder with it off? :dsm:

You will notice a difference, not much but it WILL help.

You won't believe the gain a full Turbo-Back exhaust will provide. Remember if you go to a local muffler shop that they quote pipe diameter by O.D. not I.D.

You ask for 2 1/2", you'll get 2.25" I.D.

Ask for 3" you'll get 2.75".

If you have a stock muffler, there will be little difference. Best of luck to you.
