stock cat length

my brother and i are making a custom exhaust for my car and i dont have my stock cat to mock it up. if anyone could tell me the exact length i would appreciate it.

edit: for a 2g turbo awd car if it matters.

don't know if it matters off a 1g it is 16 3/8th I don't know if there the same on 2g

Its just about 16"...i pulled mine of 2 days ago. With the flanges on its about 17 just about 18. So 18" of pipe minimum for the length of the cat. Remember its always easy to cut off extra, hard to add it on.

thanks a lot! ive been procrastinating on fabbing an exhaust for the longest. i like open DP a lot but the police dont.

I have my stock piping with just an aftermarket muffler and now straight pipe... love the sound, think im also gonna cut out the resonator now tho, make it a little deeper, that way almost most of the exhaust will be 2.5".
