I wouldn't put in CF doors..

Yes T-bone crashes are bad, but I think everyone knows how heavy our stock doors are. They're pretty damn sturdy.

Looks good! A little overkill with the fenders IMO i would paint tho's. But rock what you like not everyone else! Nice work!!:thumb:

thats a lot of cf! thats the car that the cf ebay seller uses pictures of to sell their stuff... :|
any reason why you've never come to a SD meet or racelegal with your DSM? PM me.

I love carbon fiber (obviously, I am CF'ing anything on my car I can), but I don't really like the fenders. They might weigh 4 pounds each but the stock metal ones weigh like 9. Dollar-per-pound it is not a great deal; but they look nice if you also get CF doors and blend them in with a custom paint scheme.

FYI my weight measurements were as follows:
Hood stock 38.4 lbs CF 19.1 lbs (19.3 lb savings, and the hood is mostly FG)
Hatch stock 44.5 lbs (with wiper and TSi wing) CF 13.9 lbs (30.7 lb savings, again with FG structure)

Those were some of the more expensive lb-$ things I did. Removing ABS, bucket seats, lightweight battery, and balance shaft removal were cheaper-per-pound, and the most expensive weight reduction I did was the RPF1 wheels.

If you convert to an avenger front, Extreme Dimensions sells a CF front bumper.

The front bumpers for the 2G that come in carbon fiber are as followed: Drift $500 & Octane $500. I would hope if you spend $500 on a frint bumper you also get a cf splitter to help protect it and it's for show only because I used a cf front end for show only and almost broke the damn thing just driving into the Los Angeles Convention Center.

One time I was looking at stuff on ebay and I came across a 97-99 style front bumper and it had fenders molded on it.It was all 1 piece of carbon fiber cant remember how much it was but I would be scared to crack the bumper or something and then have to replace the bumper and fenders. It looked cool though

The op's CF fenders would look better on a Talon considering that it doesn't have any side skirts:thumb:

I think If I went with CF fenders I would do an over lay and if it were the doors then I'd actually buy them considering that the difference in weight would justify the cost.

Furthermore, dong an overlay on the rear bumper cover wouldn't be so bad either since it is also pretty light due to it being abs plastic and all.
